La Clapère is ideally located against the slopes of the Pyrenees at a height of just 100 meters )not cold at night)  half an hour by car from the Mediterranean, where you can choose between the sandbeach at Argelès or the rock coast at Collioure. There are lots of typical French villages like Cerèt, Collioure, Prats de Mollot with typical cozy marketplaces. There are also lots of old fortresses.  


View on the Canigou

 

 On la Clapère itself you can walk for ours without clothes. Also the mountain climber and bicyclist can enjoy; the Canigou with its 2.700 meters high top is waiting for you. Other nice trips are a daytrip to Barcelona, the museum of Salvador Dali or a drive to Andorra.
